Jazmyn Tuberville is an Austin-born writer with a globally tuned antenna for connecting brands with consumers. Over the past five years, she's helped clients across CPG, luxury, travel, entertainment, and technology reach their audiences through smart and savvy communication.
While at MTV, she led content strategy for the ground-breaking Look Different campaign, which aimed to give young people the tools to fight against racial, gender, and anti-LGBT bias. Her work producing video segments with MTV talent and celebrities, writing daily blog posts, creating multimedia content for Tumblr, and engaging with Twitter followers -- most notably during the VMAs -- helped Look Different become one of MTV's most awarded pro-social campaigns to date. The campaign received three Webby Awards and an Emmy Award.
Jazmyn is especially proud of the scope and impact of her work at Facebook. Under tight time constraints, she led a redesign of the company’s WomenConnect app. Her initiative in writing fresh content, researching relevant brand partner Pages, and rallying up an internal cross-functional team resulted in more than 30 million users connecting globally through the app around issues and causes affecting women.
A graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, Jazmyn has honed her writing and project management skills throughout her professional career in editorial and video production at Time Inc., CNN, Facebook’s Corporate Communications team, Business and User Support at Foursquare, and Public Relations at M Booth. She began her media planning career driving tablet and smartwatch sales for Samsung at Starcom. Currently, she's managing multi-million dollar digital advertising campaigns for Unilever at Mindshare in New York City.
